Live
The Battle of the Bands provides a wonderful opportunity for pupils attending local schools and colleges to join in a competition with other local bands on a live stage.
Online submissions close on Monday 2nd May 2022.
A panel of judges with professional experience in teaching, composing and performing in bands will audition all entries and select a maximum of eight bands to perform live and battle it out at Seth Ward Community Centre, Buntingford on Saturday 21st May 2022 in front of an audience.
The winning band will play live and open the Summer Arts in Buntingford evening event on Friday 17th June 2022 at Layston Court Gardens to perform a set lasting up to 15 minutes.

First Prize
The winner of the Battle of the Bands competition will be given a day in the Music Bunker, Braughing to record their own compositions. The tracks will then be professionally mixed and mastered for each member of the winning band.

Music Bunker is a professional recording studio midway between London and Cambridge. Working with musicians and singers, we encourage high levels of creativity, enabling you to achieve release quality recordings in our relaxed environment.
We have an Audient 48 channel console, which is perfect for recording and mixing, a wide choice of microphones including AKD 414 & WA-47, and a whole bunch of outboards, including Neve preamps and 1176 compressors.
